This page shows some of the events that Moor Lane Church Pre-school has organised over the last few months and years.
Hall Mead School Drama Students performed a Pantomime Medley of Cinderella and Snow White at St Luke's Church - Front Lane, especially for Moor Lane Church Pre-school.
This was a high quality performance under the direction of Hall Mead's Head of Drama. It was a year 10 community project and good practice for their exams. It was a great opportunity to support a local School's endeavour, and an opportunity to enjoy the fruits of their hard work – free!
St Luke's families and other local pre-schools were invited as well and we had about 250 people in the building watching or performing.
The London Fire and Rescue Service kindly agreed to pay us a visit to show the children the fire engine and to demonstrate its equipment, including the fire hoses they use.
The Pre-school mums were invited to come along and help with looking after the children whilst outside.
The children climbed all over it, tried on the helmets and even had a go with the hosepipe in the car park pushing a bucket along the ground with the force of the water.
A great time was had by all, and many thanks to the Romford Branch of the London Fire and Rescue service for coming along.

A Police Officer in the Met who is also a member of St Luke's Church kindly agreed to pay us a visit to show the children a Police motor cycle and to demonstrate its equipment, including the siren, flashing lights and the radio.
All the children were given the chance to sit on the motorbike and to speak into the radio microphone.
We occasionally have the local Community Police Officers visit to talk to the children about what they do, and show us their police car and radios etc.
The local Veterinary Centre have visited us and given talks on their work with animals to the children.
The Library Lady visits us regularly to tell us about new children's books and to read us all a story or two.
