Pre-school - Moor Lane Church Pre-school
An introduction
For many years there has been a playgroup at Moor Lane Church - now known as Moor Lane Church Pre-school.
It is run by a team of qualified staff, who are committed Christians and members of Moor Lane Church or the parish church of St Luke's Cranham.
The Pre-school operates in line with Christian principles, under the control of the Church Council, with day to day management being the responsibility of a management committee.
The Pre-school is overseen by the Early Years Department of the London Borough of Havering, is regularly inspected by OFSTED, and is a member of the Pre School Learning Alliance.
What do we do?
Our aim is to provide a balanced programme of activities for Pre-school children in a loving Christian atmosphere, where they will receive the stimulation and social interaction they need prior to starting school.
The curriculum we follow encourages children's all round development using a wide variety of play equipment and materials, promoting all areas of the early learning goals, enabling children to learn through their play.
It is our delight to provide a caring, supportive and loving environment for children; we believe that a stimulating, busy and interesting environment for children makes for a happy Pre-school.
Our outside garden area is well equipped and we use it frequently. Play outside is always supervised.
